Description
Created in February 2021, this hand-embroidered piece on the cuff of a shirt (25×4 cm) was placed in a Chinese brush pot (30×9×6 cm), now transformed into a treasure trove of seeds, mirrors, and other evocative objects.
“You play every day” belongs to the Emotional Archaeology series, where each stitched fragment preserves an inner memory in tangible form. The creative process begins with found materials, timeworn fabrics, and glimpses of personal histories. Each work is utterly unique and unrepeatable, a fleeting constellation of memory, material, and emotional resonance.
The materials are delicate and often rare: vintage medical gauze, hand-drawn tissue paper, translucent fabrics, along with elements of glass, wood, and metal. Some are reclaimed, others have evolved over time. Every piece is carefully selected for its tactile and evocative presence, assembled in a way that honors its history while inviting new meaning.
The piece arrives in custom packaging—plastic-free and cushioned with natural materials. It is meant to be stored in dry indoor spaces, away from direct sunlight and humidity. You may gently machine-wash the embroidery at 40 °C with natural detergent and no softener, being mindful of the delicate components. Frequent box openings are discouraged: the materials are fragile and intended to endure only with attentive care.
