Description

Created in July 2025, this pillowcase is hand-stitched and embroidered on the front with vintage cotton thread, on linen drawn from a family trousseau (54×57 cm).

The design emerges from a slow, intuitive gesture—a kind of inner map traced with closed eyes, able to narrate a thought, a dream, or a fragment of the soul.

Nest geographies is a series of poetic home textiles. Each pillowcase is an autobiographical fragment that holds emotional traces, everyday rituals, and breaths of the past. Every piece is different, unrepeatable, deeply personal. The idea behind the series is to inhabit the domestic space as if it were an extension of the soul: an intimate place built over time, made of layers, voices, and memories. Each stitch shapes and preserves an unrepeatable emotional landscape.

The chosen materials are delicate and carefully selected: vintage or natural threads, linens and cottons recovered from old dowries and garments. Each element is valued for its tactile and narrative qualities, and assembled to preserve its link to a previous story.

The pillowcase can be machine washed at 40°C (104°F) with a natural detergent, without fabric softener. Air-dry away from direct sunlight. For ironing, place a thin cotton cloth in between and iron on the reverse.

The pillow insert is not included. Closure with metal snaps. Each work is shipped in custom packaging, free of plastic and made from natural materials.
