Description
Made in July 2024, this pillowcase is hand-stitched and hand-embroidered on pure linen fabric sourced from an old family trousseau.
The design, traced with just a few sharp lines in vintage cotton thread, suggests a passage, a threshold, a boundary. Size: approx. 62×60 cm.
Geographies of the Nest is a series of poetic home textiles. Each pillowcase is an autobiographical fragment that holds emotional traces, daily rituals, and breaths of the past. Every piece is different, unrepeatable, deeply personal.
The idea behind the series is to inhabit domestic space as if it were an extension of the soul: an intimate place built over time, layered with voices, memories, and echoes. Every stitch shapes and preserves an unrepeatable emotional landscape.
All materials are chosen for their quality and history: antique linens and cottons, natural or vintage threads, fabrics marked by time. Their texture silently tells of lived lives, gestures now forgotten, and intimate worlds once present in everyday rituals.
The pillowcase can be machine-washed at 40°C with natural detergent, without fabric softener. Air drying is recommended, away from direct sunlight. Iron on reverse side with a thin cotton cloth.
The pillow insert is not included. Closure with metal snaps. Each work is shipped in a custom-made, plastic-free package, made of natural materials.
