Description

Made in June 2025, this pillowcase is hand-sewn and hand-embroidered on the front with vintage cotton thread, on linen sourced from a family trousseau in Rieti. The fabric, already monogrammed with the letters G and F, measures approx. 43×44 cm.

The design emerges from a slow, intuitive gesture, like an inner map drawn with closed eyes—capable of narrating a thought, a dream, or a fragment of soul.

Nest Geographies is a series of poetic home textiles. Each pillowcase is an autobiographical fragment that holds emotional traces, daily rituals, and breaths of the past. Every piece is different, unrepeatable, deeply personal. The guiding idea is to inhabit the domestic space as if it were an extension of the soul: an intimate place built over time, layered with voices, memories, and echoes. Every stitch shapes and preserves a one-of-a-kind emotional landscape.

All materials are carefully selected: vintage or natural threads, linens and cottons recovered from old trousseaus and garments. Each element is chosen for its tactile and narrative qualities, assembled to preserve its living connection with the story it carries.

The pillowcase can be machine-washed at 40°C with natural detergent, without fabric softener. Air drying is recommended, away from direct sunlight. To iron, place a thin cotton cloth over the surface and iron on reverse side.

The pillow insert is not included. Closure with metal snaps. Each work is shipped in a custom-made, plastic-free package, composed of natural materials.
