Description
Pillowcase made in May 2024, cut from an antique linen sheet from a family trousseau (approx. 44×44 cm).
Hand-stitched and embroidered on the front with vintage cotton thread, this pillowcase tells an emotional landscape through a slow, intuitive gesture—a map born of body and memory.
Nest Geographies is a series of poetic textiles for the home. Each pillowcase is an autobiographical fragment holding traces of affection, daily rituals, and breaths of the past. Every piece is different, unrepeatable, deeply personal.
The idea behind this series is to inhabit the domestic space as if it were an extension of the soul: an intimate place built over time, made of layers, voices, and memories. Every stitch of the embroidery is a gesture that shapes and preserves a singular emotional landscape.
All materials are chosen for their quality and their history: linen and cotton from antique trousseaus, natural or vintage threads, fabrics marked by time. Their texture quietly speaks of lived lives, forgotten gestures, and intimate presences.
The pillowcase can be machine-washed at 40°C with natural detergent, without fabric softener. Air-dry away from direct light. Iron on the reverse side with a cotton cloth.
Pillow insert not included. Closure with hand-sewn metal snaps. Each work is shipped in custom, plastic-free packaging made from natural materials.
