Lines chasing each other in imperfect symmetry, like old cement tiles worn by time. Something that could have been carved in stone or sketched in ink, but here is stitched instead.
The red thread traces the contours with gentle insistence, as if holding onto a geometric memory made of leaves, points, and abstract corollas. A fragment of the past transformed into something to touch, to inhabit, to hold again.

Description
Pillowcase made in April 2024, cut from an antique linen sheet belonging to a family trousseau from Rieti (approx. 48×52 cm).
Hand-sewn and hand-embroidered on the front with vintage cotton thread, this pillowcase maps an emotional landscape through a slow, intuitive gesture — a map born from body and memory.
Nest geographies is a series of poetic textiles for the home. Each pillowcase is an autobiographical fragment that holds traces of affection, daily rituals, and breaths of the past. Each piece is unique, unrepeatable, deeply personal. The idea behind the series is to inhabit domestic space as if it were an extension of the soul: an intimate place built over time, made of layers, voices, and memories. Every stitch is an act of shaping and preserving an emotional geography.
All materials are chosen for their quality and history: antique household linens, natural or vintage threads, fabrics marked by time. Their texture quietly tells of lives lived, forgotten gestures, and intimate moments.
The pillowcase can be machine-washed at 40°C with natural detergent, without fabric softener. Air dry away from direct sunlight. Iron inside out, using a cotton cloth between iron and fabric.Insert not included.
