Description

Pillowcase created in March 2018, hand-sewn and embroidered on both sides, made from a large linen towel once part of a family trousseau.

The original hand-knotted fringes have been preserved to keep the memory of the fabric alive. On one side, the embroidered letter “S” can be glimpsed, while the stitching unfolds across both surfaces, worked with natural cotton threads. Measures approximately 67×78 cm.

“Nest geographies” is a series of poetic textiles for the home. Each pillowcase is an autobiographical fragment that holds emotional traces, daily rituals, breaths of the past. No two pieces are alike: every work is unrepeatable, deeply personal.

The idea behind the series is both simple and powerful: to inhabit domestic space as though it were an extension of the soul. A place built over time, layered with voices and memories. Each stitch of embroidery becomes an act of care, shaping and preserving an emotional landscape.

The materials are carefully chosen for their quality and their story: linen and cotton from antique trousseaus, natural or vintage threads, fabrics marked by time. Their texture silently tells of lives lived, intimacy, forgotten gestures.

The pillowcase can be machine washed at 40°C with natural detergent, avoiding fabric softener. Air drying is recommended, away from direct sunlight. Iron inside out with a cotton cloth in between.

Pillow insert not included. Closure with metal snaps. Each piece is shipped in custom, plastic-free packaging made entirely of natural materials.
