Description
Wearable talisman made from a coffee cup split in half and transformed into a small container. Through its handle runs a light blue cotton cord, hand-crocheted, allowing it to be worn around the neck. Inside the cup rests a folded strip of fabric embroidered with a quote from the Mad Hatter:
“If you knew Time as well as I do—you wouldn’t talk about wasting it. Ask him.”
Next to the cup hangs an old pocket watch, now stopped: a symbol of time that no longer moves, yet remains as a silent presence—memory and reminder. The talisman becomes an invitation to think of time not as something to be spent, but as a space to inhabit. Nothing is lost that is fully lived; every moment can become a threshold, a place to dwell in.
It can be kept in its box or worn as a daily amulet. Each element – the porcelain, the fabric, the timeworn metal — contributes to an object that weaves together play and reflection, lightness and depth.
A symbolic companion for those who wish to reconnect with their inner rhythm and rediscover the presence of the moment.
